Definitions give limitations and boundaries to our words,
helping us communicate ideas with clarity. They are a foundation for much of how we understand each other and the rest of the world, so it might be appropriate to lay the foundation of WellSeek’s goals with a bit of definition.
So let’s start with a big one: LIFE.
We all ponder its meaning, but how can we define it in a more tangible way?
Life is simply everything that precedes death, and biologically, death is when the cells in your body no longer function.
At its most fundamental level, cells need building blocks and energy to actually function, which can only be obtained through the foods we choose to consume.
It’s nothing earth-shattering. We all know this to be true, and that life’s biological foundation is directly defined by the foods we choose to eat.
Yet, through the confusion of the latest diet fads and trends, our society tends to overlook our true purpose for eating: to nourish our most basic biological needs and sustain life.
Sure, there’s more to life than just our biology. But without a healthy biological framework, we cannot DO the things that we want out of life: share, create, love.
Let’s start with the basics of what we need, so we may not only seek better health…rather, let’s seek LIFE.
