NAAN-INSPIRED PIZZA CANVAS

Who doesn’t love a good slice of pizza?? And as nutrition Expert Haley Goodrich shows us, all we need is a basic canvas to start building our own healthy pies…let’s find out how it’s done!

NAAN IS A TRADITIONAL INDIAN BREAD

that is typically served as a staple at most meals. It is used to scoop other foods or served stuffed with a filling.   You can make your own from scratch or can buy packaged naan at the store. Naan is the perfect size for a personal flatbread or pizza and is a blank canvas ready to be personalized.

Prepare toppings such as the sautéed vegetables or grilled chicken.

Assemble ingredients on the naan and bake for 8-10 minutes at 400 or until cheese is bubbly.

I am usually inspired most by what I am hungry for! If tacos and pizza both sound good, then why not combine the two ideas!

My second source for inspiration when making naan pizza is utilizing what ingredients I already have available in my kitchen or getting creative with ingredients that need to be used before they expire.

Experimenting with different combinations is a great way to add variety in your diet + keep what you’re eating interesting.

Here are 3 ideas to get started!
